DNA cloning

Our matrix was pure Clostridium acetobutylicum. A fresh master mix for cloning the following genes was prepared:

  • 16S
  • CtfAB
  • AdhE
  • AdhE2
  • BdhA
  • BdhB

Agarose gel electrophoresis showed that only 16S was successfully cloned.
