Presentation by Royal College of Art (RCA) Design Interactions Master’s Students

Members of the Centre for Synthetic Biology and Innovation (CSynBI) have recently been acting as advisors to a number of Master’s students studying the Design Interactions Course at the RCA. Many of the students had chosen projects that centred around synthetic biology, and had been developing various applications for this new field of research as part of their final show. This meeting was an opportunity for the RCA students to present their projects to the iGEM team and to other members of the CSynBI. The experience taught us all to be much more open-minded and to think more about the Human Practices side of synthetic biology.
