How to make your own online collections database

(1) Post your photographs (if any) online using Picasa or other photo sharer, such as Flikr

(2) Paste your photo URLs and collection information into this Demo Database

(3) This database will automatically produce KML code on the "KML Code" sheet.

(4) Here is an example Google Spreadsheet showing my own data and modifications.

(5) From the "KML Code" sheet of your database, copy the text from the first column into this text file‎

(6) Log in to Google Maps, create a new map, and import the text file.

(7) You can edit these localitites directly in Google Maps.

(8) Place links to your database and Google Map on the web.
