Project Description

This notebook contains lab notes for the Truman State University Synthetic Biology Lab for the summer of 2010. Our goals for the summer include:

• Establish synthetic biology techniques
• Create classroom and laboratory modules for biology courses
• Start a synthetic biology research project
  

We also hope to provide a pedagogical paper on how to set up a synthetic biology lab at an institution and how to use synthetic biology to teach biological concepts.

Notes

• The Truman Synthetic Biology Lab is currently being developed during the summer of 2010. Our goal is to create a lab where students will have all the tools and resources needed to pursue research in synthetic biology.
