1. Coordinators
   • Retreat- Monday and Tuesday of spring break (one night), Newport RI, need speaker ideas
2. Social chairs
   • Recap - Holiday party
   • January TGIF- wine tasting Jan 30th (use some diversity funds)
3. Treasurer
   • send Rachel email when you spend money
   • will compare budget with Karen soon
4. Secretary
5. First year representative
   • How much will the department cover for interview weekend activities?
6. Academic representatives
   • Dinner with 1st years- dept paying for, $10/person, date soon
   • ISS update/ IAP speakers- preliminary list been contacted (alumni who couldn't make it over IAP)
   • Surveys: TA just went out, discuss with Doug along with dept survey
7. Community service chair
   • Cooking at CASPAR - Dinner on 2-28-09; Breakfast on 3-31-09
8. Diversity representative
   • Event ideas-lunch in Feb, film/TV show
9. Athletic chairs
   • currently hockey
   • spring- softball, ultimate, volleyball
   • look into storage space in student room (new events fund)
   • softball game with another dept or alumni/ faculty
