Research
The Wilke lab carries out research in the field of computational evolutionary biology and comparative genomics. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, molecular evolution of protein-coding genes, selection pressures arising from the requirement for efficient and accurate gene expression (translational selection), evolution of infectious disease, theoretical population genetics.
