This is a very good entry despite your lack of data. For the methods, you need to add the concentration of saline and the stage the embryos were when the experiment began. In your lab report, you can make graphs of the percent survival and percent hatching at the days you made observations. Since your results section will be short, make sure you write a thorough discussion - think about how NaCl can damage cells and/or developing organs. LS

Great! I'm glad that at least one of your samples works, and that it you found it on the tet plate since it is supposed to be antibiotic-resistant.

Vert lab - You did a good job including everything in your food web. The only thing you are missing is a paragraph about ecological concepts.

Invert lab - Good job, you covered it all. I liked that you said the earthworm moves like a slinky! LS

2/15/2015 Good job. I'm glad that you were able to identify the Genus of your plants. Next time add some photos or drawings of your specimens. It is true that now is not a great time of year for finding seeds, and also some cultivated plants are bred so that they don't flower - that way you have to keep buying seeds from the seed company! Trifolium and Lactuca are dicots. If you really have Lycophyta, it is a vascular seedless plant, so it can't be a monocot or a dicot. LS

2/6/2015 Great job! LS

1/30/2015 This is very nicely organized and thorough. Remember that protists are not bacteria, so your hypothesis should be about protists! I can't see your pictures. You can click on the edit page of one of your classmate's pages to see the code that they used. Also check the document on blackboard that explains how to upload photos. If that still doesn't help, Dr. Bentley or I can work with you. LS
