I got it, glad youre enjoying the wiki - its been a great tool for us as well. also, you can also post messages directly on a user's userpage, e.g. [[User:Jasonk]], then the user gets a little notice letting them know someone has left them a message. ill help you move those pages over for the de-wikifying, i just moved 'Publications' as an example. | |||

hi there, you might want to consider using the naming convention: 'Hoatlin:Lab members' instead of just "Lab members", the advantage is that if you start all the names of your lab pages with "Hoatlin:" you can take advatage of the "De-wikify" feature of the site. For instance if you go to http://knight.openwetware.org, and compare it to http://openwetware.org/wiki/knight you'll see what I mean. Any page you browse to from there that starts with "Knight:" will remain de-wikied. Labs like this feature since it makes a more "presentable" frontpage to the world for their site (you can of course still edit the site via the wiki).
