popularity "contest"

Dear Bill, is there any (lets hope simple...) way to have popularity count ("This page has been accessed 178 times.") included in a list, i.e. http://openwetware.org/wiki/Wikiomics ? Best, darked 09:33, 10 December 2007 (CST)

Darek,

I noticed the way it's done on Wikiomics. We use s custom recentchanges extension but I know the info is still available. I'll look at it when I get in. My battery is about to die!

This will only show the number of edits and not the number of reads: caching isn't a big issue but I just don't think the info is tracked. A better way to track usage is via Google Analytics, out current use tracking solution. I can set you up with access if you want to see how often the pages are being read there.

Bill

Endy Lab

inventor of RNA blot

Hi Bill,

Is P. Thomas really the inventor?

  • Thomas et al. 1980 [1]
  • Alwine et al. 1977 [2]; see also en.wikipedia
