| I recently defended my PhD in systems biology at the Harvard Medical School. My work focused on microbial biofuel production and on studying the course of RNA synthesis, mostly alternative splicing. Prior to Harvard, I attended the [http://www1.technion.ac.il/_root/index.html Technion Institute of Technology] where I majored in Biotechnology Engineering (B.Sc.) while meeting great friends along the way. I grew up in Israel and spent a few childhood years in the states as well. Outside of lab, I like traveling and playing sports, particularly basketball, tennnis, gym, and skiing.
