Unfortunately the processivity increased with neck length, but the velocity went down that was interesting

Neck Linker Length Changes

Now that i have the normal conditions for the neck linker length
13 aa neck linker
26 aa full neck
.38 nm per aa
persistence length of .8 nm
I want to make a graph of longer neck lengths and see if processivity goes down (hopefully) so i'll write the numbers down here so i don't get confused

14 aa neck linker

  • 14 aa neck linker = 5.32 nm
  • 28 aa full neck = 10.64 nm
  • 18 aa docked neck = 6.84 nm
  • 8 aa double docked = 3.04 nm

15 aa neck linker

  • 15 aa neck linker = 5.7 nm
  • 30 aa full neck = 11.4 nm
  • 20 aa docked neck = 7.6 nm
  • 10 aa double docked = 3.8 nm

16 aa neck linker

  • 16 aa neck linker = 6.08 nm
  • 32 aa full neck = 12.16 nm
  • 22 aa docked neck = 8.36 nm
  • 12 aa double docked = 4.56 nm

17 aa neck linker

  • 17 aa neck linker = 6.46 nm
  • 34 aa full neck = 12.92 nm
  • 24 aa docked neck = 9.12 nm
  • 14 aa double docked = 5.32 nm

Good that should be enough

Here are the two graphs. Both the graphs' x-axis is neck lengthin aa. the y axis on the left graph is run length, and the y-axis on the right graph is velocity

Unfortunately the processivity increased with neck length, but the velocity went down that was interesting
