I am an assistant professor in the Physics and Astronomy department and the Center for High Technology Materials at the University of New Mexico. Here is my link at the P & A department: Steven J. Koch

Here is a brief list of research interests:

  • Development of biophysical tools, particularly single-molecule manipulation techniques
  • Optical tweezers, magnetic tweezers, MEMS and nanophotonics devices
  • Protein-DNA interactions, cellular molecular biophysics
