I lead research in the Forest Plant Molecular Genetics lab (a.k.a., the Cronn Lab), which is part of the Genetics and Silviculture Team in the Landscape and Watershed Management Program at the PNW Research Station. We're on OpenWetWare to share lab and informatics protocols that are directed primarily at using ultra-high throughput short read sequencers in population genetics and genomics applications.
Education

- 1986, BS, Drake University, Des Moines, IA, USA
Research Interests
- Molecular basis of climatic sensing and adaptation in plants
- Plant population and landscape genetics
- Chloroplast genome evolution
