The only difference we enacted, was that this time we ran the oven for 2 hours before stopping and adding in some gold solution into the samples.

  • We ran samples from yesterday through the UV-Vis

Preparation of samples with gold

  • We attempted a new synthesis process by which to combine the Magnetite nanoparticles inside the protein with gold. We made sample of magnetite to hemoglobin (16500:1) and magnetite to BSA (13000:1) in the oven using the concentration and methods all previously mentioned. The only difference we enacted, was that this time we ran the oven for 2 hours before stopping and adding in some gold solution into the samples.
