__NOTOC__

Apart from trying to clean the output window there’s nothing else we can do to fix this issue in the field.  It’s most likely a problem inside the resonator. The system would need to be sent in to verify this.  If you would like to have the system evaluated I would need a $1000.00 evaluation PO.  After we evaluate I could let you know the cost to repair.

I am sending you the link to data. It shows what we see when we do profiling. We do open science so if you or the engineer have any questions or comment, you can directly post them their.

Thanks for you time.

Rathi,

Do you have copies of the beam profiling data you took?  I would like to sent it to the manufacturing engineer to take a look.

Sir I am working under Dr. Steven Koch at CHTM (UNM). We (Dr. Koch) borrowed this system from the original owner Dr.Evan Evans (Boston University now at CHTM), feel free to contact him if you want.

Rathi,

After checking the serial number history I don’t show this system being sold to you. How did you acquire it? This is an 8 year old laser. Are you working with the original owner of the laser? I need to know this before we can offer  support.

Subject: Technical support with co2 laser

  Hi,

We have a CO2 laser from coherent and any help will be greatly appreciated. We have an optical tweezer powered by Model: Compass 1064-4000M; Serial No. H020417751; Output 4W diode pumped CW IR laser. We need some technical help.

Problem: The laser supposes to be in fundamental TEM00 mode at max power of 4W. But it seems like it’s not. Power spectrum at trap (OT) above 3 W is not linear with power. We did beam profiling; up-to 3 W the mode is single TEM00 but above 3 W its look like we have a combination of modes. It is highly required by the OT setup, that laser stays in fundamental mode (optimum focusing) at 4W.

Question: Do you offer any technical support-line (if yes can you please help us in solving above problem), so we can fix this problem ourselves? Do you also offer in-person on-site support for our region (if yes please also guide us with the process)?

We have a dead-line to follow, so a quick response will be highly appreciated. We thank you in advance for your time and effort.

Thank you,
