Education:  B.S. and M.S. in Microbiology at University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign.  Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA under the supervision of Drs. David A. Campbell and Nancy R. Sturm.

Research Interests:  I am interested in studying the biological functions for protein arginine methyltransferases in both yeast and mammalian cells.  More specifically, my research focuses on the regulation of gene expression by protein arginine methyltransferases.
