Objectives

  • Crosslink PVOH(22K) + porphyrin films.
  • Analyze NaMT-CuSO4 exchanged solutions with atomic absorption spectroscopy.

Crosslinking PVOH Films

  • The following films were crosslinked:
    • PVOH(22K) 1.0073 g, 1 mL GA, 1 mL porphyrin
    • PVOH(22K) 1.05225 g, 1 mL GA, 1 mL porphyrin
    • PVOH(22K) 1.02114 g, 0.5 mL GA, 1 mL porphyrin, HCl
    • PVOH(22K) 1.0067 g, 1 mL GA, 1 mL porphyrin, HCl

Atomic Absorption on NaMT-CuSO4 Exchanged Solutions

  • CuSO4 standard solutions of 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, and 3 ppm were prepared.
  • Please refer to Karlena Brown's entry for AAS observations.
