POM synthesis

Continuing on Paul's synthesis of Na12P2W18O62 from yesterday, I filtered the crystals from the supernatant, both of which were a pastel to emerald green color. I placed the collected solid into an 80 degree oven overnight. (The original procedure calls for placing the solid in a vacuum oven at 80C for 5 hours. Our vacuum oven is not working. Instead, I'm going to heat overnight at 80 degrees, and then place under vacuum tomorrow). In order to increase the collected yield, I took the supernatant and heated until near boiling until I observed solid formation within the liquid. I took this concentrated liquid and placed it in the fridge at 4C.
