Project Description/Abstract

My group is trying to re-engineer both hemoglobin and myoglobin such that they are able to convert carbon dioxide into either carbon monoxide or formate.

• The students who work with me really do all of the work. I'm around to facilitate them and to make sure that reactions and methodologies are running smoothly and continuously. I will post here on a number of different things: Glove box setup, protein expression and purification, small molecule inorganic synthesis, and physical characterization of materials.
