ObjectiveI was looking at the UVVis data for HRP AuNPs today. I noticed that the student run data didn't qualitatively match with what the solutions looked like. The students all centrifuged their samples (30 min max speed) before taking their data (both AA and UV Vis). I wanted to take AA and UV Vis data for uncentrifuged samples. I also took data of centrifuged samples (with the remaining sample after AA). Description
DataUV-Vis Data - uncentrifuged Taking the 70, 150, and 190 samples that I made here, I ran UV Vis. I noted that the tube for the 150 sample was tinged a slight purple color, indicating that some AuNPs had adsorbed to its surface. I expect a slight diminishing of the signal for both UVVis and AA for this sample.
Using the same samples as above ... I also made 6 standard concentrations for a calibration curve
Here is the data for these samples UVVis - centrifuged I centrifuged 1mL of each sample in the centrifuge in 207 for 30 minutes at 13200rpm. NotesThis area is for any observations or conclusions that you would like to note.
