Procedures

[Tuesday]

  • Polydopamine nanofibers
    • Immerse PLA scaffolds in 10mL of 10mM, pH 8.5 TRIS polydopamine solution for 1 hour
    • Add (10mM?) protein to solution for 5 hours to allow surface functionalization to occur
    • Rinse with deionized water and allow scaffold to dry overnight

  • Polydopamine nanofibers cont'd
    • Put scaffold into 10mL test tube to conduct Myoglobin nanofiber procedure
  • Myoglobin nanofibers
    • Same as usual, with doubled concentration (0.5mM Au in final solution) making 100:1 and 60:1 ratios again
