Objective

  • Prepare 10 mL samples of water only, gold+lysozyme, and empty vials for GCMS.
  • Prepare 20 mL- samples for CV
  • Ocean Optics at 70°C.

Procedure

Data Analysis

Observations

  • The vials for GCMS were supposed to be closed tight while in oven but we made a mistake and we left them slightly uncapped.
  • Reaction 1 (Zero order), which means the reaction is not dependent on any reactant concentration. The pseudo k value is 2E-5 M^-1s^-1
  • Reaction 2 (Zero order), which means the reaction is not dependent on any reactant concentration. The pseudo k value is 4E-5 M^-1s^-1
  • The pseudo k value represents the appearance of the product and it's very small so the rate is slow.
