Do you have any experience culturing cells (mammalian, yeast or microbial)?
Yes, I did mouse neural cell culture in high school and have done a lot of bacterial culturing for my UROP.

Do you have any experience in molecular biology (electrophoresis, PCR, etc)?
Yes, my UROP involves a lot of gels, PCR, restriction/ligation, and transformation.

===Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience===

In high school I worked on a mouse neural cell culture project involving fluorescent microscopy as well as some basic bacterial and molecular-biology stuff.

I am currently UROPing in Tom Knight's lab, working with E.coli, B.subtilis, and M.florum, and doing a lot of molecular biology (everything you need for a BioBrick 3A assembly).
