  • Lentivirus work - Day 3, collect virus

Lentivirus work - Day 3, collect virus

  • Collection 1 - 10:00 am
  1. Starting volume/ well = 6.0 mL
  2. For each well (one at a time)...
    1. Removed 5.5 mL growth medium, dispensed into 50 mL collection tube, rinsed pipette in Wescodyne, discarded pipette
    2. Slowly and carefully added 5.5 mL fresh growth medium, rinsed pipette in Wesc., discarded pipette
  3. Placed plates back into 37°C incubator.
  4. Placed virus samples into blue rack in 4°C fridge
  5. Same biosafety/ discard procedure as 9/10/14
