OBJECTIVES
Microspheres: Separation & Vacuum Filtration ProceduresRECALL SEPARATION AND VACUUM FILTRATION PROTOCOL ON 3/08/13 For the Protocol originally discussed on 03/08/13, some modifications that occurred included: * A vacuum filter system is no longer being used, instead the oil is being decanted off before washing with hexanes * Samples are being shaken vigorously for ~ 1 min before allowing to sit and settle for ~ 3 min * After decanting off the excess hexane added to dissolve the excess oil in each sample, the samples are being set aside to air dry Notes
