I'm a second year grad student working in the Engelward at MIT working on DNA damage and repair. Half of my job consists of infecting mice with bacteria and harvesting their organs to search for cancer, and the other half is damaging DNA and measuring how much harm I've done. I have a particular interest in homologous recombination, and we have a super awesome mouse model to study it (Ask me about it! It has a lot to do with Module 1!). I'm also using the CometChip developed in the Engelward lab to try to identify <i>in vitro</i> when HR is occurring in cells.

I work in the [[Your Lab]] at XYZ University.  I learned about [[OpenWetWare]] from Class introduction, and I've joined because I am the teaching assistant for a class that uses OWW..
I also enjoy long walks along the Charles, organization, the Daily Show, 90s music, sleep and hugs.

I'm a second year grad student working in the Engelward at MIT working on DNA damage and repair.
