My Ph.D. thesis project will include the design, fabrication and characterization of microfluidic biosensing devices. I’m particularily interested in mass sensing chips, such as this [http://www.science.uottawa.ca/~mgodin/research.html suspended microchannel resonator], as well as single-cell label-free volume sensors like this [http://www.mae.buffalo.edu/research/laboratories/biomem_microfluidics_lab/index.php?type= lab-on-a-chip].
I am currently working in the Sinton Lab at the University of Toronto, where I explore novel bioreactors for photosynthetic bacteria. I am also interested in exploring microbial enhanced oil recovery in microfluidic environments.
