PPF-18 w/ various metals

  • 1.) Add Zinc nitrate hexahydrate (.0072796 g, .03 mmol), N,N’-di-(4-pyridyl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxydiimide (DPNI) (.0042 g, .01 mmol),1.0 M nitric acid (50 μL, .05 mmol) in ethanol, N,N-diethyl formamide (DEF)(1.5 mL),Ethanol (0.5 mL), & 100μl Iron Chloride Porphyrin Mix to a small capped vial labeled PPF-18 w/ Iron Chloride
  • 2.) Add Zinc nitrate hexahydrate (.002488 g, .03 mmol), N,N’-di-(4-pyridyl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxydiimide (DPNI) (.0042 g, .01 mmol),1.0 M nitric acid (50 μL, .05 mmol) in ethanol, N,N-diethyl formamide (DEF)(1.5 mL),Ethanol (0.5 mL), & 100μl Cobalt Acetate Porphyrin Mix to a small capped vial labeled PPF-18 w/ Cobalt Acetate
  • 3.) Add Zinc nitrate hexahydrate (.006412 g, .03 mmol), N,N’-di-(4-pyridyl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxydiimide (DPNI) (.0042 g, .01 mmol),1.0 M nitric acid (50 μL, .05 mmol) in ethanol, N,N-diethyl formamide (DEF)(1.5 mL),Ethanol (0.5 mL), & 100μl Cupric Acetate Porphyrin Mix to a small capped vial labeled PPF-18 w/ Cupric Acetate
  • 4.) Add Zinc nitrate hexahydrate (.0068095 g, .03 mmol), N,N’-di-(4-pyridyl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxydiimide (DPNI) (.0042 g, .01 mmol),1.0 M nitric acid (50 μL, .05 mmol) in ethanol, N,N-diethyl formamide (DEF)(1.5 mL),Ethanol (0.5 mL), & 100μl Nickel Nitrate Porphyrin Mix to a small capped vial labeled PPF-18 w/ Nickel Nitrate
  • 5.) All vials are sealed and sonicated to ensure homogeneity
  • 6.) Heated to 80° C in an oven for 24 hours followed by a slow cooling to room temperature for 9 hours (Program 2)
