  • 2.) 4- aminopyridine (.847 g, 6.00 mmol)
  • 3.) Diethyl ether (600 mL
  • 4.) Dimethylacetamide (DMA) (150 mL)
  • 5.) Dissolve 1&2 in DMA stirred at 135 degrees C overnight.
  • 6.) Cooled to room temperature and poured onto diethyl ether (600 mL).
  • 7.) Precipitate filter and washed with diethyl ether
  • 8.) dried under vacuum to yield
