Objective

To prepare additional hydrogels, prepare 0.1% QAS films, crosslink the 0.01% QAS film, measure the swelling, filter the 1% QAS

Description

  • The 1% QAS was filtered using a vacuum pump and a buchner funnel.

  • butyne-1-ol hydrogel: original mass = 1.0120 g, mass after soaking in water over weekend = 2.1100 g, total increase in water = 1.098 g
  • isopropanol hydrogel: original mass = 1.1387 g, mass after soaking in water over weekend = 1.9740 g, total increase in water = 0.8353 g
