AuNP - CaCl2 Equilibrium

  • Precipitate started to form
  • Powdery purple solid (rather than coagulated fibers) with pale purple solution
  • Added 25.12 mg CaCl2 (96.4 mg total) to precipitate remaining colloid


AuNP Synthesis

  • Accidentally left previous samples in oven for 24 hrs
  • Removed and cooled
  • All purple solutions, with no visual difference
