Reaction of OPD+H2O2 with Mb Catalyst in Acetone SuspensionThe procedurefor the reaction of OPD and H2O2 was followed using a Mb/Tris catalyst and an acetone suspension. The reaction was run in a beaker with a stir bar and the solution was centrifuged for 1 minute at 13,200 rpm before taking a spectrum. In addition reactions were run using Mb/Phosphate and Mb/Acetate in hexanes suspension. These samples were filtered (not centrifuged) before taking a spectrum. DataThe drop in absorbance at 140 minutes is due to the outside of the cuvette being cleaned.
