* | * P. syringae pv. tomato isolate DC3000 has an optical density at 600 nm (OD600) of 0.1 (∼5 × 107 CFU/ml). I am simply going to adjust all of my cultures of Pst and Xg to OD=0.1, innoculate the plants, and go from there - seeing which one gives the best result. Later I can figure out a precise CFU count for a specific dilution when I settle on an isolate.
* Stirred and watered soil for strawberry experiment - both fish and mustard meal treatments had fungal blooms going on.
* Found great publication, "Survival of gfp-tagged antagonistic bacteria in the rhizosphere of tomato plants and their effects on the indigenous bacterial community" - http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1574-6941.2006.00093.x/abstract
