Remains of the Day

  • Innoculated the preped nodal potatoes with bacteria - resuspended 1 freshly grown colony from glycerol stock, into 500 ul of sterile 0.1 M sodium phosphate and then to each of 3 potatoes, added 100 ul of the suspension. Went backwards, starting with 12H and making it all the way to 7A - a few more will get done tommorow.
  • Started physical capture TRFLP for 5 growth room Heinz 2401 rhizospheres and 5 Heinz 2401 field roots - digesting them overnight at 60 degrees with BstNI.
