Remains of the Day

  • Ran gel of yesterday's fungal PCR (those with stars beside the name will be repeated with 40 cycles/TVD fields will all be repeated with 40):
  • None of the replacement PCRs that I did for day before yesterday's bacterial TRFLP worked. This time, repeating with 50 ul reaction volume and 5 extra cycles (as well as for all failed fungal reactions and all TVD field fungal).
  • Got Steph started on culturing microbes for the strawberry rhizosphere experiment.
  • Extracted 23 more TVD growth room rep 2 rhizospheres
