Remains of the Day

  • Spent the morning designing strawberry growth room experiment - need Greg's input for soil (just suggested waste soil) and pathogens (red stele and black rot) to select (George suggested soil swap type experiment first, with carrott soil and one artificial soil with all the growth promoters we have mixed together - he also suggested I drop pathogens all together as uninteresting)
  • Specing DNA for plate
  • Extracting more tomato rhizosphere (started centrifuging them all down, but screwed up and had to throw out many - leaving in fridge to do on the weekend like on Sunday)
