There's one diploid variety with a genome project going on, so I'll order some of that from the USDA (http://www.nature.com/ng/journal/v43/n2/full/ng.740.html) and some other varieties like Allstar (popular all over Michigan and US), Honeoye (most popular/productive strawberry but highly susceptible to Verticillium wilt), Veestar (popular for pick your own in Ontario, but susceptible to Verticillium), and the California variety, Seascape (heat tolerant, virus tolerant)
