The Daily Grind

  • Doing a PCR with 2 ul of DNA (resuspended in 50 ul of H2O) from 7 Brazil samples to test for DNA. This was using 16S program on machine, using 27F and 1492R primers that I got from here. The samples tested are W2, TP2, SS2, 28R, 1R, 24S, and 3E. Lets see what happens...
  • Got soil and washed root samples from timce course - 5 for Amy and froze them in -20 along with other tomato samples. Going to go score roots for scab a little bit now...
  • Harvesting 72 hour samples from the top 3 leaves of tomatoes and potatoes for McGill ISR project.
