Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience

Since the spring of 2012, I have been working in the Engelward Laboratory, under the guidance of two PhD candidates, Michelle Sukup Jackson and more recently Jing Ge. Originally, I focused on an in vivo detection of DNA damage and repair response using engineered mice models, but now I am working to improve our understanding of DNA damage and repair processes by using an in vitro high-throughput, quantitative DNA damage analysis method involving the CometChip, an optimization of the more traditional Comet Assay, through statistical analysis.
