Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience
I worked in the Prather Lab for the first 8 months of this year. There I worked to design and optimize a pathway used for the creation of biofuels from simple sugars. Additionally, I looked into developing a new pathway for the creation of several aromatic compounds which are used for pharmaceutical precursors.
