Daniel says that mucoid morphology is typical of DH5alpha containing inherent amp resistance. Fuzzier colony type most likely marks gradient of resistance. | |||
All 8 colonies from LCR plates were used to inoculate 4mL of LB+Amp for miniprepping. Four tubes were similarly inoculated from MV10 + control in order to obtain more plasmid for further experiments. | |||
