I do not know how the organization of any topic I talk about will ultimately be but I do know that I'd like what I write to read like a complete train of thought. However, there are issues with updating and dating ideas on the wiki. On the one hand it is nice to see a chronological ordering of ideas so that you can see how they evolve. On the other hand, it doesn't make for easy reading. Ultimately I think what I will end up doing is having a notebook that catalogs my ideas by date and then once the topic is complete (or satisfactory), I'll write up a specific page that incorporates every idea on the topic. Not only will this help my dissertation writing, but I think it's good practice to rewrite things again. We are monkeys after all and repetition is the best way to learn something very well in my opinion. Argh! Why does the public OWW log me out after some time?
