1-Propanol, Tris, KCl

Reaction performed on September 22, 2014 in Ocean Optics using standard procedures outlined in the entry on September 22, 2014. Reaction was done with 15 mg of lyophilized KCl in Tris buffer dissolved in 1-Propanol.

  • The solution after the reaction had run had a soft brown tint in the bottom third of the solution, with no precipitate formed. The top two thirds of the solution remained clear.
