Completion of film synthesis
Placed film in sodium sulfate, 1% HCl and sodium bicarbonate.
Measuring absorbance of films in PBA
- Soaked PVA-Clay polymer films in 10.4 ppm PBA and allowed to soak for a determined amount of time ( two scintillation vials for each time slot), after which time films were removed to avoid further absorption of PBA.

- Note that the 10.4 ppm PBA solution was made by James and Eleni
- James measured out 10.4 mg of BPA and dissolved in 5 mL of methanol, then diluted to 1 L with distilled water.
