Purpose/Objective

  • Image all treatments. Variable effects will be outlined.
  • If no treatment was able to reverse fiber formation. Fibers will be extracted from 50:1 and 110:1 ratios in order to expose fibers directly to each treatment variable.
  • If a treatment can reverse fiber formation, it will be investigated further in order to find the smallest amount of the variable that can be added to solution in order to cause the desired level of fiber degradation.
  • More treatments of 2,2 bipyridine will be prepped to see if ability to precipitate fibers is observed again.
  • More 110:1, 50:1, and 40:1 AuNP's will need to be made.
  • Make BSA 100:1 check variables
  • Add salts before we make them to samples that typically don't make fibers. See if fibers result.
