IBE Regional Conference at MIT
General Information about IBE
The MIT Biological Engineering Undergraduate Board is excited to sponsor this year's IBE Regional Conference!
The goal of the IBE Regional Conference is to develop a forum in which undergraduate and graduate students from the Boston/New England area can gain professional presentation experience by sharing their research with fellow students and faculty members from other universities. These conferences are sponsored by the Institute of Biological Engineering and are designed to allow students to actively participate and contribute to this professional organization.

Conference Information
The IBE Regional Conference will consist of a poster session competition for undergraduate students and a key note address by an MIT Biological Engineering Professor. Posters will be judged by a panel of MIT graduate students, post-doctoral students, and faculty. Students will be required to submit an abstract beforehand and present their poster briefly during judging at the event. There will be two judging sessions to allow students to view each others work.
The student with the winning poster will be given the opportunity to present a talk at the National IBE Meeting in March 2010 at MIT. For more information on this event please visit http://www.ibe.org/meetings-and-events.html
