Hey, I thought it was worth posting some of the ideas from the discussion Jason, Ilya and I had after lab meeting on the abstraction hierarchy. This is a part of a larger discussion on Ilya's presentation on using the semantic web for the Registry (which Ilya will likely be posting later).
