As per earlier discussions with others in the SBWG, we should likely further standardize this media by using glycerol as the carbon source. --[[User:Rshetty|Reshma]] 14:38, 7 Jun 2005 (EDT)
Using glycerol as the standard carbon source seems like a good choice and I have now indicated that on the main page.  Nonetheless, some lab members who do not need to fully conform to SBWG standardization may still want to use the media, which is why I was not as yet going to include the sugar by default.

Using glycerol as the standard carbon source seems like a good choice and I have now indicated that on the main page. Nonetheless, some lab members who do not need to fully conform to SBWG standardization may still want to use the media, which is why I was not as yet going to include the sugar by default.
