I just noticed this page is much like another type of presentation of the M9 supplemented media page. Does it make sense to keep both? (MDolinar)

  • BC 09:31, 30 March 2006 (EST):Agreed, it makes sense to unify them. I have made this page a general M9 media page. It includes links to both a minimal media page and a supplemented page. In the process I split some of your content between the minimal page and the supplemented page. Hope this is ok. Please revert if you'd prefer. Thanks for your contributions to the materials page!
  • MDolinar: Barry, did you mean fluorescence or rather absorbance? I never really checked fluorescence but from my experience it was quite useful I could determine A550 against water (not growth medium).
  • BC 13:38, 30 March 2006 (EST): In our experience both the absorbance and fluorescence at 488nm are very low. I corrected the page to reflect this. Thanks for spotting this.
