As promised, here are my comments...

  • OperatorSiteName: A lot of promoters have multiple operator sites. Could this represented with the sample code you have, and if so, how? Consequently, one would also need to store multiple operator site locations.
  • OperatorSiteLocation: Perhaps I am misreading your code, but this should probably be num[], not boolean. Let me clarify what I mean by start/end using this example: BBa_R0040 For each of those operator sites, we would need a start and an end, in terms of base pairs. Site "TetR 1" starts at 1 and ends at 19, as you can see in the diagram, or more explicitly in the page source code. Similarly, for "TetR 2", start = 26 and end = 44.
  • Negative10/Negative35: See above. These should also be num[], not boolean.
